Product Description
As worn by Team Sky on the hottest mountain days at the Tour de France, Kask's Valegro is by far their lightest and most ventilated helmet to date. The mission set to Kask was to create an incredibly lightweight and ventilated helmet to take on the hot mountains in the 104th Tour de France, and with a whopping 36 vents, they managed it. Thanks to Kask's new moulding technology, the Valegro weighs in at just 180g, which is 70g lighter than the Protone, ensuring that it will give you that extra advantage when every second counts on hard road rides. The profile of the Valegro's polycarbonate shell is the result of lessons learned from the Bambino Pro and Infinity helmets as well as relentless testing and refining in the wind-tunnel to guarantee the best results in terms of thermo-cooling performance. As well as the Valegro's 36 ventilation holes, it also features state-of-the-art 5mm thick fast-wicking material on the helmet's pads, ensuring that moisture is taken away from the rider's head, thus making you more comfortable and able to concentrate entirely on your performance. The padding is also anti-static, bacteriostatic and heat regulating thanks to Resistex Carbon in order to consolidate your comfort, and the head-to-pad contact of the helmet is an incredible 70% less than other helmet designs. Alongside this cutting edge technology in terms of its light weight, aerodynamics and comfort, the Valegro is topped off with an eco-leather strap and chin pad as well as front and rear sunglasses garages, that contribute to a helmet that is comfortable to wear all day.
